Customer Review: Two discs for only five shows?!
At first glance, Shout! Factory would have a good idea making a release like this. Considering they seem to be the ones in charge of putting most of DiC Entertainment’s cartoon library to the DVD format and doing it right, making a 2-disc compilation of the company’s Christmas material sounds rather natural. Heck, it’s a release I’d have liked to see from Warner Bros. and/or Nickelodeon.

But they’ve by now announced the specials included on the set, listed here:

# Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog: “Sonic Christmas Blast”
# What-A-Mess: “Santa What-A-Mess”
# “A Hollywood Hounds Christmas”
# Bump in the Night: “Twas the Night Before Bumpy”
# “Jingle Bell Rock”

That’s it?! Only five shows? How exactly does this constitute as being two-disc-set material when it’s barely even enough for ONE disc? Why couldn’t Shout! Factory put more on this? I guess I can understand the exclusion of “Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas” since they lost the Inspector’s video distribution rights to FOX (unjustly in my opinion), but frankly, I see no excuse as to why they couldn’t put the Mario Bros. Christmas episodes (”Koopa Klaus” and “The Night Before Cave Christmas”) and the “Sabrina: The Animated Series” Christmas Carol parody on this set. Maybe then the SRP of $15 would be justifiable. But no, instead we only get five specials that somehow manage to take up two discs. Adding to that, there don’t even appear to be even bonus features to compensate for the lack of material, so unless you’re an obsessive DiC cartoon collector (in which case you may have already gotten the individual DVDs these specials were released on in the past), I can’t see any reason to waste more than $11 on this. “BUY NOW”

What On Earth Are Zhu Zhu Pets?

December 30th, 2009 by admin

Children are really going gaga over this new toy that’s selling like hotcakes on the net. Zhu Zhu Pets are electronic hamsters. It is one of the top selling products in the games and toys section at the Amazon.com and has sold out at walmart so where can you buy zhu zhu pets?

Zhu Zhu Pets, also known as Go Go Pets, are robot hamsters that have artificial intelligence. They can play with other Zhu Zhu pets and can even interact with children with aid from the sensors attached to them. These cute little pets have different environments where they can play and interact. It is sold singly from the toy itself.

Each Zhu Zhu Hamster has its own individual personality & fanciful sounds. Loving Mode : Pet them, kiss them, hear them gossip Explore Mode : Let them scoot, scamper, across the floor. Provide them with their Hamster Habitat.

Kids of ages ranging from four to 10 years old can play and enjoy these motorized pets. They’re quite lovable toy pets and they are awfully adorable to kids. There is no child that can ignore these small, bushy animals. With the squeaking noises that they make, the kids are definitely hooked with them.

The environments that are sold singly are engineered to optimize the hamster’s capabilities. With the help of the external stimuli the toy hamster can play and have interaction with their environment. The tracks, tubes and other devices can be re-designed and assembled according to the kid wants and desires. It is easier to get the add ons that it is to buy Zhu Zhu Pets.

The good thing regarding these pets is that they are truly like the live hamster pets without the effort of upkeep. Maintenance in the way that you have to muck out their cages or feed them. With this, what you only need to do is to play with it just like what my son is always doing.

The added bonus to these motorized hamsters is that it does not smell, poop, or have the need to be fed. This may mean smaller clean up and maintenance for the oldsters. Their kids can have a fun time without the nuisance of taking care of their furry small chums.

These zhu zhu pets ( Go Go Pets ) are not as popular in the UK as it is in the usa. Do take note it is much cheaper in the Amazon version of UK. Then why does it sell so badly?

Cepia, the american promoters, of the Zhu Zhu Pets have done a superb job in advertising these toys in the usa. The recounted toy was first launched in Phoenix. After the trial launch all sales zoomed up and so did the price tag. With the Yuletide season rushing in, it’s still uncertain if the demand will deplete the supplies or will it be sadly replaced by another well-liked toy.

If you want to buy zhu zhu pets then you really need to speed up if you do not desire disappointed kids on your hands at Christmas.
